Anyone help Scalp Psoriasis?
Anyone suffer from it and find any treatments that work to get rid of your scalp psoriasis?
I’ve suffered from severe hair loss because of SP. It’s been an extremely humiliating process. My head is always itchy and flaky/scaly, red in areas and bumps in several areas.
It’s a very difficult situation and what my dermatologist has prescribed for me (many strong topical steroids) have not done any good 
If anyone has any suggestions of treatments that have helped them I would greatly appreciate it!
Shampoo (and conditioner) with tea tree oil is great. Paul Mitchell makes a shampoo & conditioner, but I also found the “generic” brand at Sally Hansen Beauty supply works just as well (and half the price). I use this and I like it better than the shampoos that are made for psoriasis because it doesn’t seem to completely dry my hair out. And, it seems to work just as well.
Also, depending on your hair type, try to shampoo your hair as little as possible. I wash mine every other day or longer depending on any hair products I may have used.
